Message in a Bottle This is currently our biggest project now adopted by District 105SE. The objective is to supply elderly and/or vulnerable people with a small plastic bottle which is kept in their fridge.The 'Bottle' contains details of any health issues, medication, and next of kin contact details. A label is then placed in a prominent position inside the front door where emergency services will find it. This scheme has the full support of all emergency services.

Thanet Lions has purchased 10,000 bottles at a cost of £3000.

Bottles are available from many outlets in Thanet, including QEQM Hospital, Churches, Doctors surgeries,Primary Care, District Nurses & Age Concern in Ramsgate/Margate.
